My name is Mina, and I founded The Panda Trading with one goal in mind to help students and beginners understand the financial markets in a clear, honest, and empowering way.
I immigrated from Egypt to the United States chasing the American dream, a dream built on opportunity and growth. Back home, online access was limited, and trading was something only professional brokers could do. You had to pay high fees and never truly understood how the markets worked. But I always knew I wanted to learn how to buy, sell, and grow in the stock market.
My journey began in 2019, just before the COVID-19 crash. I watched the markets fall and felt completely lost. I started researching how to buy my first stocks, failed miserably, and even though I had friends who traded, no one really helped. That’s when I discovered Robinhood and began buying and selling stocks myself. The profits were small — ten or twenty dollars — but it sparked something inside me.
I soon discovered options trading, where I began earning hundreds at times, but I realized I was missing true understanding. Later, I moved into the crypto market, buying coins at low prices and holding long-term without any technical knowledge — just passion and curiosity. I watched countless YouTube videos, spent over $5,000 on mentorships, and learned that not every influencer truly wants to help.
One mentor even said on his podcast that he prays every morning for people watching his leaked content to lose money and that was the moment I decided I would never be that type of teacher. Eventually, I found a mentor whose teaching style finally made sense. He broke down markets like the NASDAQ and S&P 500 in a way that clicked with me. Even though I couldn’t afford one-on-one coaching, his guidance shaped how I trade today.
Through years of trial, error, and dedication, I realized my purpose — to build a space where students can learn real-world trading skills without the confusion and false promises I faced. The Panda Trading is more than a platform; it’s a community that focuses on knowledge, discipline, and support for every learner.
“You don’t need to be lucky to trade you need to be educated, patient, and consistent.”
